Shear Determination-Noleen Kageha Agura, 36. Mahboula-Kuwait | Ep 32.

In which area of life have you been most successful and comfortable to share with the world about? Business: Barber Industry.

What inspired you to pursue this journey, and how did you overcome initial challenges? Being a barber to me feels like a gift as I went to school to gain perfection on my craft. I feel like this is what I was meant to do, despite being a lady. It's a field that calls for perfection so as to maintain your clients. With most of your clients as men, that calls for standing your ground, discipline and offering utmost professionalism. I have been in this field for 15years. I started doing this when I was a young lady and most people despised me and felt like I couldn’t deliver as required or felt like I lack experience but my skills pushed me forward. This might give a low blow to your esteem but upon delivering the service as required, you're able to sell your skills and maintain clients.

Please share a significant moment or decision that played a significant role in your success? I'd talk of my family support as being the most significant. Their support and encouragement watered me as I rose. I was able to go for what I like and give my best. My client’s loyalty to my services has seen me grow and expand. They found contentment and satisfaction and those were enough reasons to stick to my services. I worked with a great team by my side and we did great. At times we'd decide to give back to the society by visiting children's homes. We'd shave their hair, make their nails and by seeing the smiles on their faces, we kept moving forward.

How do you navigate work-life balance and maintain your well-being amidst the success? I dedicate myself to work and associate myself with things that will not distract my work schedule. With this, I'm able to give a balance to both as I stick to the path. It's all about planning yourself accordingly.

What advice would you give to aspiring women on a similar journey or who dream of the same kind of success? It's all about the interest. With this, believe in yourself, be determined and you'll see yourself climb the ladder. There will be challenges for sure, but always remember the reason as to why you're doing it. Give your all and you will see yourself at the top.

In the face of setbacks, how do you stay resilient and continue to thrive in your journey? I remind myself that this is what I enjoy doing, find happiness in and what I was called to do. I remind myself of the greater dream in me of owning a chain business and that I'll not rest till that is achieved.
